AMA is looking for a self-motivated Digital Designer to join our Creative team to design and create engaging emails, landing pages and creative assets that enhances AMA’s digital experience. This role will be responsible for implementing best practices for effective email designs that support our marketing strategy and drive revenue. Day-to-day role consists of 50% design and 50% HTML coding.


 
 

Responsibilities

  • Design, code and produce emails, landing pages, and digital assets for all promotional campaigns (including social media) for Marketing and Sales

  • Create efficiencies in workflow by designing and implementing responsive templates employing current best practices and design trends

  • Manage the entire email execution process including design, coding, QA across multiple email clients, and owning corrections in the internal review process

  • Effectively manage and execute complicated multi-version A/B testing for email campaigns and other digital components including personalization, offer variations, etc.

  • Evaluate existing emails/creatives and implement test plans to test our way to design improvements

  • Create assets for campaigns applying brand and messaging consistency across all channels

  • Communicate technical and design issues clearly to stakeholders and propose alternative solutions

  • Other related duties

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of related work experience in digital design and email HTML coding – working directly in email platforms such as Marketo
  • Proficient in Adobe CC, HTML and CSS
  • Strong knowledge of email optimization, website usability, UX and responsive design
  • Understanding of asset creation for social media advertising and its constraints
  • Demonstrated strong layout design skills with ability to use design principles to communicate effectively to the target audience and drive revenue
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with internal partners
  • Experience in print and PowerPoint a plus
  • Experience with template sites such as Wordpress
  • A background in Marketing a plus
  • Travel in accordance with business need
