American Management Association, Saranac Lake, NY is seeking a Product Coordinator for the coordination of the administration and delivery of AMA seminar materials for public and on-site seminars; support AMA international affiliates and licensees; other special projects (e.g., Operation Enterprise, Breakfast Briefings, etc.), ensuring all materials are of the highest quality possible, and are produced and delivered by the most cost-effective method(s) and timely manner possible.


Organizationally Critical —Fulfillment of purpose directly impacts AMA customers and clients.





  • Ensure the quality delivery of all seminar material—determine and coordinate accurate material requirements, confirm correct materials are produced, provided and shipped to the correct location, cost-effectively and on time
  • Assist with researching overall project specific progress information and update individual program reports; monitor work in progress
  • Note and address all last-minute seminar revisions to prevent negatively affecting overall seminar delivery; and when necessary, determine and implement steps for disaster recovery
  • Monitor and advise on the use of third-party intellectual property, maintaining awareness of and abiding by copyright regulations
  • Serve as “gateway to AMA,” supporting and coordinating the response to and fulfillment of global affiliate and licensee needs and requirements/inquiries regarding the use of AMA content (new, revised and inactive—printed and online), third-party IP, AMA Faculty, assessments and other tools, films, etc.
  • Address communications surrounding courseware components
  • Add and update seminar information as needed in department's job tracking database
  • Identify and act upon discrepancies within seminar content and/or with seminar logistics.
  • Correctly maintain, store, and replenish shared seminar data in various systems
  • Work with outside vendor(s) to confirm accurate and timely delivery of all seminar shipments, following up and ensuring appropriate credits are issued where necessary
  • Act as a positive resource for answers and solutions to all issues surrounding the quality delivery of AMA seminar materials.
  • Participate in the continual review and improvement of department processes
  • Other duties as assigned




High school graduate, some College preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) and office equipment.

Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess good follow-up skills and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Familiarity with small package shipment software (FedEx, UPS, DHL) a plus.

The ability to manager multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment.

Self-starter requiring little day-to-day direction. Has the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Ability to be flexible when faced with frequent operational changes.

Works well under pressure with real deadlines and customer commitments at stake.

Extreme attention to detail.

Effective problem solving skills.
