AMA is looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships who will support revenue growth and key business initiatives by sourcing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships. The role will offer exposure to a broad range of issues and strategic priorities across business and functional units.



  • Managing existing and new partnerships on an ongoing basis, including performing data-driven assessment of partnership value.
  • Acting as liaison between AMA and partners/licensees.
  • Surveying the global market, building relationships, and representing the company in discussions and negotiations with third-parties.
  • Building relationships, monitoring activity and tracking developments in professional learning markets.
  • Researching, developing and executing sponsorship programs that support revenue goals.
  • Developing post-partnership implementation plans to enhance execution and value.
  • Other related duties.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced Degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of professional services experience, incl. sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating strategic partnerships, licenses, or similar agreements.
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills.
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
  • Experience working across borders with multiple cultures.
  • Working knowledge of establishing and interpreting complex contracts
  • Must be able to create and manage a complex budget.
  • Travel in accordance with business need.
