    AMA is looking for a Facility Food & Beverage Representative who will be responsible for maintaining a fully stocked, clean, safe, and professional environment for 7 client beverage bars and one staff pantry. Also required to assist in the handling of all corporate catering in order to ensure the prompt delivery and professional arrangement of all food buffets for conference center clients. Temporary full-time approximately 3 months with a potential of conversion to full-time regular employment status.

    Responsibilities

    Client Beverage Services

    • Sanitize, Clean & Maintain the following commercial beverage equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s requirements:
      • (7) Coca Cola Fountain Machine (Bag in Box product)
      • (7) Minute Maid Juice Dispenser (Frozen Concentrate Cartridges)
      • (8) Follet & Hoshizaki Ice & Water Dispensers
      • (12) Mars Flavia Single Cup Coffee Brewers
      • (7) Poland Spring Water Dispensers (5 gallon)

    (this requires daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly service)

    • Stock all necessary product and maintenance items for all equipment.
      • Change CO2 tanks as required
      • Change all filters as required
    • Stock all necessary cups, condiments, and ancillary supplies for all beverage bars.
    • Sanitize and clean all beverage bar counters, cabinets, and all other customer surfaces related to the beverage bars – each beverage bar should be maintained hourly throughout the work day.
    • Manage inventory for all products related to all beverage bars for the entire facility
      • Rotate all stock
      • Place orders with all vendors for all product and supplies
    • Troubleshoot malfunctions to ensure the proper safe operation of all equipment.
      • Arrange for and coordinate vendor equipment repair as necessary.

     

    Client Catering Services

    • Work closely with Center Coordinator and Catering Vendors to ensure all catering orders are delivered to the appropriate events at the required client location and event times.
    • Assist in the set-up and arrangement of all food buffets – must be done in professional manner in accordance all with food safety guidelines.
    • Maintain all client buffets throughout the client event.
    • Breakdown and clean up all buffets at the end of all client events.

     

    Customer Service

      • Work closely with the customer service personnel to respond to all client needs related to both beverage and food service.
    • Interact with corporate meeting clients, seminar participants, and AMA staff to determine and deliver required/requested services and support.

     

    • Develop, recommend, and initiate service enhancement ideas.

     

    Technical

    • Must possess a good mechanical aptitude.
      • Ability to read equipment operation and maintenance instructions.
      • Ability to read equipment “cut sheets” and perform general maintenance tasks.
      • Basic knowledge of plumbing in order to change necessary filters and CO2 tanks. Evaluate the operation of drain pumps, etc…
    • Record Keeping and Billing Reconciliation – must be able to work with management to track and reconcile all products ordered in order to reconcile vendor invoices.

    Qualifications

    High School or equivalent.

    2+ years general food service and/or hotel/convention services experience desired.

    Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.

    Must be team oriented and a self starter.

    Overtime and some weekend work required.

    Required to wear specific business attire on a daily basis.

    Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and continually re-evaluate them in a constantly changing environment.
