    It’s an exciting time to join the team at the American Management Association (AMA). The AMA Women’s Leadership Center (WLC), a division of AMA, focuses on supporting the advancement of women through education and community. We provide tools and resources to the community and corporate clients to help women build skills, learn from one another and build a supportive network.



    AMA is looking for a WLC Marketing Coordinator will work on the WLC brand to grow membership, engagement and event attendance. The ideal candidate believes in the importance of preparing more women for leadership and overall diversity and inclusion in the workplace.



    • Coordinate schedule and content for weekly promotions, collateral pieces and events

    • Manage WLC social media platforms on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube

    • Assist with customer service activities including responding to members and inquiries

    • Ensure WLC website is up-to-date making updates such as uploading images and formatting copy

    • Research and communicate with potential partners, sponsors and leads

    • Manage event lists, event calendar and communication calendar

    • Assist with identifying new event speakers and coordinate contracts

    • Support event logistics manager and support registration at evening events

    • Ideate new advertising concepts

    • Review and deliver advertising assets to digital agency for campaigns

    • Create sales enablement documents to support the communication of products

    • Perform other administrative duties as needed


    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related area of study.

    • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, membership associations, women’s organizations, or related field

    • Ability to work collaboratively between departments as well as independently

    • Successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities at one time

    • Communicate confidently and effectively with internal and external clients

    • Have passion for diversity, inclusion and supporting the advancement of professional women

    • Understanding of HTML, and Creative Cloud applications (photoshop, Illustrator, dreamweaver, etc.)

    • Proficient in relevant Microsoft Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Experience with Google Analytics a plus

    • Ambitious and creative thinker 

    • Position requires some evening event attendance and may include some
