    The Managing Data Department is seeking a Temporary Database Maintenance Specialist to assist with Customer Record maintenance. 40 hours per week for 90 days.

    Responsibilities

    • Process address corrections, return mail and responses from our customers and prospects to update their contact details in IMIS.
    • Work requires efficient and accurate data entry, both alpha/numeric to ensure quality of the AMA promotional database.
    • Process on average 85 records per hour, less for address corrections (60/hour) and more for return mail (100/hour).
    • Requires excellent attendance and an ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a short period of time.
    • Other related duties.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED with 2 years clerical and/or customer service experience required.
    • Additional related education may be substituted for required work experience.
    • Basic word processing and computer skills with a minimum of 35 words per minute or equivalent data entry keystrokes.
    • Working knowledge of general office practice, procedures and business language.
    • Able to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Willing to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays as necessary.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
