The Learning Solutions Associate (LSA) oversees a portfolio of AMA content, and supports client engagements collaborating with a Learning Solutions Manager.  The LSA supports the development of creative, meaningful and relevant content for delivery at AMA training engagements across modalities. The LSA provides market insight and subject matter knowledge, enabling AMA to better assess industry trends and respond to customer needs. The LSA collaborates with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing plans to promote content to market.


1) Client Engagement

  • Ensure all project management documents and processes are completed for the client engagement, including permissions approval, contracts, project plans and client sign-off documents.
  • Work with clients to effectively and accurately set delivery expectations.
  • Manage the deployment of all delivery modalities: Classroom, Live Online, Virtual, print materials, e-notebooks, Web-based content, Mobile, etc.
  • Support client engagements when needed.

2) Content

  1. Oversight and Development
    • Be fully knowledgeable of content within portfolio
    • Manage instructional design process
    • Assess, monitor and manage the portfolio strategy from content, quality, marketing and financial perspective to ensure cohesion with overall AMA strategy
    • Plan and prioritize content development and revisions
    • Work with Learning Technologies, Instructional Design and SMEs to develop and/or migrate content to new modalities based on client need and market trends.
    • Acquire new content for existing and new products
  2. Marketing 
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop integrated marketing plans for existing and new products.
    • Support business development activities including pre-sales meetings with clients and sales team

Other related job duties. 


  • BA/BS degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience supporting  learning projects
  • Knowledge of Instructional Design (“ID”), Organizational Development (“OD”) and various learning modalities
  • Well-informed about workplace learning, professional development, and learning technologies
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Experience in developing and managing project plans
  • Experience in content, strategy and development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work across functional teams
  • Travel in according with business needs
