The AMA Women’s Leadership Center (WLC), a division of AMA, is hiring a WLC Manager, who will focus on supporting the advancement of women through meaningful education and community. WLC provides tools and resources to professionals and corporate clients to help women build skills, learn from one another, and create supportive networks. AMA is looking for a management professional who is well versed in content marketing, event planning and operations, affiliate partnerships and other responsibilities to grow our Women’s Leadership Center. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support lead generation, site traffic and revenue through relevant content. Including creating and growing relationships with subject matter experts, faculty and internal specialists to produce content that supports the AMA brand, thought leadership point of view and overall products.
  • Partner with marketing, product and sales to strategize and source content for event marketing, content for general events and next year's annual women’s leadership conference
  • Create surveys on relevant women topics and translate to lead generation and sales-support content
  • Manage in-person venues and sites for events and workshops
  • Manage lists and follow up communications for events
  • Identify new potential partners and affiliates for women’s leadership products and services for outreach
  • Manage WLC microsite with relevant content, events and products
  • Manage corporate membership activation and usage
  • Stay relevant on competitive intelligence and trending topics for women for events, promotions and other content
  • Respond to customer service inquiries regarding WLC membership and product.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ year's experience in marketing, communications, events, membership associations, women’s organizations, or related field
  • Communicate confidently and effectively with internal and external clients
  • A passion for diversity, inclusion and supporting the advancement of professional women
  • Understanding of HTML a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders, support staff and client facing
  • Proficient in relevant Microsoft Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Google Analytics a plus
  • Understanding of talent development industry, a plus
  • Must be results-driven.
  • Must be effective independently and in a team-environment
  • Position may include attendance at evening events and travel when necessary
  • Travel in accordance with business need
