Overview

American Management Association ("AMA") is looking for a Marketing Manager who will support AMA’s public seminar business with a focus on executing multi-channel integrated marketing strategies for assigned product lines and researching, evaluating and managing new and existing partnerships and reseller relationships. Detailed planning, implementation, and analysis of successful strategies are critical in effectively growing these important components of AMA's business.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Create and execute integrated marketing plans for public seminars in all assigned media, with a focus on the Artificial Intelligence product line, working closely with Learning Solution Managers to grow AI and other assigned portfolios
  • Develop multi-channel promotional strategy for assigned product lines to achieve revenue goals, testing innovative and creative marketing approaches
  • Analyze past results, competitive data and current trends to formulate public session scheduling recommendations for assigned seminars aligned with goals
  • Share responsibility for developing and achieving annual revenue goals for assigned seminars and new initiatives, building related marketing budgets
  • Evaluate key marketing and financial indicators to determine effectiveness of strategies and monitor progress against goals. Adjust strategies as appropriate
  • Direct and work with Creative Services and Digital Marketing teams to develop communications that build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and create compelling offers that appeal to customer needs
  • Support existing and new partnerships and reseller agreements, including performing data-driven assessment of partnership value
  • Act as liaison between AMA and partners, educating partners about our new offerings
  • Developing post-partnership implementation plans
  • Research and assess new reseller opportunities
  • Other related duties.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Required, MBA/MS Preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in multi-channel direct marketing, digital marketing and campaign management preferably in a B-to-B setting, including responsibility for developing budgets, providing creative direction, identifying audience segments, targeting list sources and analyzing results
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a marketing plan
  • Experience in evaluating and interpreting financial metrics and a proven ability to take appropriate action to modify or capitalize on results
  • Proven experience in creating innovative marketing and growth approaches/solutions
  • Experience in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating strategic partnerships, resellers, or similar agreements preferred
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to the work this position requires
  • Travel in accordance with business need
